Digital artist Mizuri has created a stunning concept of Alexandra Daddario as the DCEU version of Zatanna.
Earlier this month, Alexandra Daddario revealed her feelings on the fact that fans keep suggesting her for comic book roles. While Alexandra Daddario notes that she does not have a particular character she wants to play, Mizuri seems to be among those who consider Zatanna to be the perfect role for the Baywatch star.
In a post on Instagram, the digital artist noted that he was impressed by Zatanna in the animated Justice League Dark and would love to see Alexandra Daddario play the character in a DCEU film. To prove how perfect she would be for the role, Mizuri created impressive concept design featuring Alexandra Daddario suited up as Zatanna for the DCEU.
Drop down below to see what Alexandra Daddario would look like as Zatanna in the DCEU.
In the comics, Zatanna is a descendant of Leonard da Vinci who works as a successful stage magician. She eventually discovers her powers while investigating the mysterious disappearance of her father, Giovanni Zatara, a member of the Homo Magi race.
Last year, it was reported that Warner Bros. is developing a Zatanna standalone movie for the DCEU. Zatanna had previously been mentioned as a member of the Justice League Dark lineup for the live-action film being produced by Scott Rudin.
Zatanna is one of the many projects currently being developed by Warner Bros. and DC. These projects include The Flash standalone film, Green Lantern Corps, Black Adam, Cyborg, Supergirl, New Gods, and Nightwing.
