Alison Brie has talked about the possibility of joining the MCU, revealing she would like to play a Marvel villain.
Alison Brie, known for her roles in series such as Community and Mad Men, has already dipped her toes in Marvel’s pool. The actress was one of the filmmakers who worked on the documentary series Marvel’s 616 and is set to voice a role in the animated Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur series.
Recently, Brie spoke about the possibility of joining the MCU for a live-action film role. The Community star revealed her ambitions of playing Marvel’s next great villain.
Alison Brie’s Search For The Perfect Marvel Villain
Alison Brie recently spoke to ComicBook.com and was asked whether there were any particular Marvel roles she had her eye on.
While Brie revealed she wasn’t holding out hope for any one particular role in the MCU, she is eager to join the universe Marvel has built. She said that she would like to play “a great Marvel villain,” but doesn’t have a specific one in mind and appealed to fans for their suggestions.
Speaking about the possibility of playing a part in the MCU, Alison Brie said:
“Nothing specifically that I have set my sights on, no, and I think that would be a mistake, because clearly you can’t really dictate. Marvel’s going to do their thing, as they should. I think there’s a fantasy deep in my mind that one day I would get to play a great Marvel villain, but I don’t know which one that would be. People, fans, send me some ideas so I can start the campaign.”
Given her impressive career so far, it seems like Alison Brie could take on any role Marvel decided to offer her. Following her request for suggestions, Marvel fans are sure to produce a plethora of recommendations for truly villainous roles Brie could bring to life on the big screen.
