A new batch of behind-the-scenes photos from Aquaman puts the spotlight on Mera actress Amber Heard and her Atlantean look.
With fans eagerly awaiting news about Aquaman 2, new behind-the-scenes photos from the first film put Mera actress Amber Heard in the spotlight to show off her intricately detailed outfit. Aquaman director James Wan discussed the highly-anticipated sequel before its DC FanDome panel, and fans were excited to discover that it’ll feature more horror-tinged moments like the Trench sequence from the first film. The photos of Heard highlight the effort that went into creating her Atlantean costume.
Mike Wowczuk revealed the new shots of Aquaman star Amber Heard in the Mera costume, praising costume designer Kym Barratt and her team for creating the Atlantean costume and glueing all of the tiles to the suit. Wowczuk pointed out that he painted the gold elements in Mera’s suit while the folks at Ironhead Studio were the ones behind the Atlantean symbols as well as her tiara.
