‘American Gods’ Star Yetide Badaki Wants To Play Storm In The MCU’s ‘X-Men’

American Gods star Yetide Badaki took to her official Twitter account to lobby for the role of Storm in the MCU’s X-Men reboot.

Months after Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox’s entertainment assets brought the X-Men under Marvel Studios’ control, Kevin Feige confirmed mutants would be part of their post-Avengers: Endgame plans for the MCU at San Diego Comic-Con. While details on Marvel Studios’ plans for the X-Men franchise are currently under wraps, fans are already proposing potential actors to portray the team of mutants, including fan-favorite Storm.

Now, America Gods star Yetide Badaki has made it known that she would love to play Storm in the MCU’s X-Men projects through a Twitter post. In the message directed at key Marvel Studios and Disney figures, including Kevin Feige and Black Panther director Ryan Coogler, Yetide Badaki noted that as a dark-skinned woman of African origin she would love to play iconic X-Men character.
