Anna Diop’s Starfire gets a new look in the latest behind-the-scenes image from HBO Max’s Titans season three.

As work on Titans season three continues in Toronto, a new shot of Anna Diop’s Starfire shows off a fresh look for the alien hero in the next batch of episodes of the DC Comics drama. The hero from the planet Tamaran has had an interesting character arc up to now, as she was first introduced to audiences without any memory of who she is or where her powers come from. Starfire discovered her true nature after teaming up with the titular group, with the end of season two teasing a conflict ahead thanks to the arrival of her sister Blackfire. Anna Diop isn’t the only one getting a new wardrobe in season three, as Curran Walters’ Jason Todd is also transforming into Red Hood.

Starfire’s Titans season three look was revealed thanks to the show’s director of photography, Boris Mojsovski, who previously posed with another star, Brenton Thwaites. Mojsovski posted a photo of Anna Diop to Instagram, revealing a much darker hair color than her previous vibrant hairstyle. It’ll be interesting to see how Starfire deals with the arrival of her sister when Titans season three eventually arrives on HBO Max. You can see the photo below.

Here is the official synopsis for Titans season two:

In Season 2, following the aftermath of their encounter with Trigon, Dick reforms the Titans. Under his supervision in their new home at Titans Tower, Rachel, Gar and Jason Todd train together to hone their hero abilities and work together as a team. They are joined by Hank Hall and Dawn Granger aka Hawk and Dove and Donna Troy aka Wonder Girl. Although these original Titans attempt to transition into a regular life, when old enemies resurface everyone must come together to take care of unfinished business. And as this family of old and new Titans – including Conner Kent and Rose Wilson – learn to co-exist, the arrival of Deathstroke brings to light the sins of the old Titans which threaten to tear this new Titans family apart once more.

The series stars Brenton Thwaites as Nightwing, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Minka Kelly as Dove, Alan Ritchson as Hawk, Joshua Orpin as Superboy, Chelsea Zhang as Rose, and Iain Glen as Bruce Wayne.
