In a shockingly controversial statement, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier lead Anthony Mackie said his butt is better than Captain America star Chris Evans’.
With The Falcon and The Winter Soldier arriving on Disney Plus later this year, fans are desperate to see Anthony Mackie step into the role of Captain America. And although a new toy seemingly revealed the suit the star will wear in the series, there’s another title that he needs to earn if he’s really going to follow up Chris Evans in the role, and that’s by having America’s Ass. It’s a joke that quickly picked up steam in Avengers: Endgame, but now Anthony Mackie has taken it a step further by claiming he has “a much better ass than Chris Evans.”
Although following the surprising announcement recently that Chris Evans is actually in talks to reprise his role as Captain America in a future Marvel project, it sounds like the two might have to fight it out for the esteemed title. When speaking to KFC Radio, Anthony Mackie defended his stance that he has a better behind than Evans. However, he also noted that also comes down to a matter of preference, saying “it’s all about how you like your buns cooked.” Take a look below.
“Chris and I laugh and joke about it all the time, I have a much better ass than Chris Evans. So one day we’re gonna do the biking shorts test, or the compression shorts test, and we’re gonna have everybody choose, which is America’s ass…I think it’s gonna be 50/50 split. Some people like their pizza lightly toasted, some people like a little bit of char on their pizza, you know what I’m saying? So it’s all about how you like your buns cooked.”
What do you make of Anthony Mackie’s surprising comments? Are you excited to see Chris Evans return as Captain America at some point in the future? Sound-0ff in the comments below!
