Avengers: Endgame star Anthony Mackie has shared a photo from the set of the Disney Plus series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Marvel Studios’ plans for the next phase of its cinematic universe includes a number of series for the Disney Plus streaming service, the first of which will center on Anthony Mackie’s Falcon and Sebastian Stan’s Winter Soldier. Production on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is now underway and Anthony Mackie has shared his first photo from the set of the series on his official Twitter page.
Of course, Marvel Studios is keeping a tight lid on the secrets of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, meaning Anthony Mackie’s set photo was limited to the two chairs reserved for himself and Sebastian Stan. However, Anthony Mackie included a caption celebrating the start of production and welcoming the Falcon and the Winter Soldier team to the set, which appears to be located at a harbor.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is currently set to be the first Marvel Studios series to debut on Disney Plus. Set after the events of Avengers: Endgame, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is rumored to center on Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes as the former finds himself facing resistance from the United States government and its opposition to him taking on the Captain America mantle.
Directed by Kari Skogland from scripts written by showrunner Malcolm Spellman and Derek Kolstad, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Falcon, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes / The Winter Soldier, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, Daniel Brühl as Baron Helmut Zemo, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker / U.S. Agent.

DC Universe Debuts ‘Doom Patrol’ Character Posters
Along with the premiere of the first teaser for Doom Patrol, DC Universe also debuted a collection of character posters for each of the members of perhaps the strangest team of characters to be adapted in live-action form for DC Comics.
In particular, these new character posters highlight Timothy Dalton's The Chief, Diane Guerrero's Crazy Jane, Joivan Wade's Cyborg, April Bowlby's Elasti-Woman, Matt Bomer's Negative Man and Brendan Fraser's Robotman. These posters each follow unique designs that reflect the nature of each character and tease unique personalities amongst the group as well.
