Anthony Mackie continues his feud with Tom Holland by saying a Falcon movie would make more than a Spider-Man movie at the box office.
Ever since sharing the screen in Captain America: Civil War, both Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan have started a civil war of their own within Marvel Studios with Tom Holland. Mackie’s The Falcon and The Winter Soldier debuted as the biggest premeire on Disney Plus ever, and now Mackie is under the belief Falcon can take down Spider-Man at the box office.
During an appearance on SiriusXM, Mackie let it be known that he thinks a Falcon move would outgross a Spider-Man film starring Tom Holland:
“There is competition within Marvel… There is competition. I just want to see somebody do an algorithm or figure out if we were in a movie theater how much money we would have made. Because I know it would’ve been more than Tom Holland as Spider-Man!”
Do you agree with Anthony Mackie? Will we ever get a solo Falcon movie? Let us know in the comments below!
