A mystery character is set to appear in the fifth episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier according to showrunner Malcolm Spellman.

Here we go again. The showrunner behind The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Malcolm Spellman recently teased that there’s a mystery character waiting in the wings in the series. After all the WandaVision hype regarding Mephisto and the X-Men, fans should maybe lower their expectations a little, but Spellman is clear that this character is an exciting get for the Disney Plus series.

While speaking to Rotten Tomatoes about what to expect from the rest of the episodes in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Spellman confessed that there’s a certain character in the fifth episode of the show that he’d like to see teamed up with huge characters like Thor. The showrunner described this character as being grounded and having a strong personality. It’ll be interesting to see where that pans out when episode 5 eventually comes around. Take a look below.

“There are characters in our series who I would love to see partnered with like – it’s a very, very grounded character — partnered with one of the big world-shakers like Thor or someone like that… The personality is so strong, it’s the episode five character. I’d love to see that character with Thor.”
