Amazon’s The Boys introduced viewers to Anthony Starr’s Homelander, the leader of the superhero team known as The Seven who hides a violent and arrogant streak underneath his public persona. Since the debut of The Boys, some fans have suggested The Boys star Antony Starr for the role of the villainous Reverse Flash in Ezra Miller’s The Flash movie.

In the comics, Reverse Flash is the arch-nemesis of Barry Allen who is obsessed with replacing his enemy and many fans considered the character to be the ideal foe to take on Ezra Miller’s Fastest Man Alive. Now, digital artist “BritEdit” has created artwork that depicts The Boys star Antony Starr as the Reverse Flash for the upcoming The Flash movie starring Ezra Miller.

IT director Andy Mushcietti has signed on to direct Ezra Miller’s The Flash while Birds of Prey writer Christina Hodson is being eyed to pen a new script for the project. Previously, Ezra Miller and Grant Morrison were co-writing a new draft of The Flash script following reported conflicts with John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, who were attached as directors at the time.

Here is the official synopsis for The Boys with Anthony Starr:

THE BOYS is an irreverent take on what happens when superheroes, who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians and as revered as Gods, abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. It’s the powerless against the super powerful as The Boys embark on a heroic quest to expose the truth about “The Seven,” and their formidable Vought backing.

The Boys stars Karl Urban Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Kapon, Karen Fukuhara, and Nathan Mitchell.

The Boys season one is now available on Amazon Prime Video and Ezra Miller’s The Flash is eyeing a 2021 release date. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding Anthony Starr and Ezra Miller!
