An artist has created a new piece that imagines Antony Starr, who portrays Homelander on The Boys, as the Reverse-Flash for Ezra Miller’s The Flash.
The first season of Amazon’s The Boys introduced viewers to Antony Starr’s Homelander, the leader of the superhero team known as The Seven. Based on the comic book series of the same name, The Boys depicts Anthony Starr’s Homelander as an arrogant and violent leader who masks his true persona with a noble public front.
It appears the less-than-heroic Homelander inspired digital artist Dalton Barrett to create a new image of actor Antony Starr as another antagonistic figure from comic book lore. In a new piece of fan art, Homelander actor Antony Starr is depicted as the Reverse-Flash for Ezra Miller’s long-awaited standalone film centered on The Flash.
Check out the post below to see Homelander actor Antony Starr as Reverse-Flash for Ezra Miller’s The Flash.
The latest reports indicate IT director Andy Mushcietti is in talks to the helm Ezra Miller’s The Flash while Birds of Prey writer Christina Hodson is being eyed to pen a new script. Previously, Ezra Miller and Grant Morrison were co-writing a new draft of The Flash script following reported conflicts with John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, who were attached as directors at the time.
Here is the official synopsis for The Boys:
THE BOYS is an irreverent take on what happens when superheroes, who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians and as revered as Gods, abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. It’s the powerless against the super powerful as The Boys embark on a heroic quest to expose the truth about “The Seven,” and their formidable Vought backing.
The Boys stars Karl Urban Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Kapon, Karen Fukuhara, and Nathan Mitchell.
The Boys season one is now available on Amazon Prime Video. Stay tuned for the latest news on Antony Starr’s Homelander and Ezra Miller’s The Flash!
