Warner Bros.’ new Aquaman preview revealed a first look at Dolph Lundgren as DC Comics’ King Nereus.
Director James Wan’s Aquaman film will follow Arthur Curry as he reluctantly begins a quest with Mera to retrieve King Atlan’s Trident and assume the throne of Atlantis from his half-brother Orm, who seeks to unite the Seven Kingdoms in a war against the surface world. Among the leaders Orm hopes to rally to his cause is King Nereus, the ruler of the Atlantean tribe of Xebel and Mera’s father. Now, the latest Aquaman preview reveals footage of Dolph Lundgren’s King Nereus as King Orm attempts to recruit him for his mission.
