According to recent reports, Aquaman is exceeding expectations in China and is currently projected for a $90-95M weekend opening.
Originally it had been reported that the film would be taking in between $75-80M in China for its opening weekend after making $24M in just two days. The reports were quickly updated, however, as the film had reportedly made over $34M by 8 PM in China, with the weekend projections going as high as $90-95M. If these reports prove accurate, they will put the film well ahead of other DC films like Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League.
