‘Aquaman’: Arthur’s Guide To Atlantis Hints At Father/Son Relationship

Aquaman Jason MomoaIn a recent post, someone shared an image of Arthur’s Guide To Atlantis for the upcoming film, Aquaman, which hints at Arthur’s relationship to his father.

The image in question doesn’t tell us a whole lot sadly. In it there are two pictures that feature a few of the characters. In the first image we see a character who appears to be a teenage version of Aquaman. Below it is a note that teases Arthur as to where he got his good looks. The second appears to be one of the few family photos that the three had. In it we see a baby version of Aquaman being held by his father and his mother. In the caption below, we see a note that was apparently written by his father where he has some trouble talking about Arthur’s mother.

From the look of things, Aquaman’s father will have an influence on his time in Atlantis.

Directed by James Wan, Aquaman stars Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Patrick Wilson as Orm / Ocean Master, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Ludi Lin as Captain Murk, and Temuera Morrison as Tom Curry.

From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be… a king.

Aquaman will be released in US theaters on December 21, 2018.
