After over two years of hard work, director James Wan is finally ready to share his DC Extended Universe film Aquaman to the world. On his official Instagram, Wan shared a photo celebrating that with picture locked, the film is finally complete.
Wan shared this photo of himself alongside numerous VFX artists, editorial workers and sound designers that helped bring Aquaman and the world of Atlantis to life. As you can tell, Wan and company are eager to show the world what they’ve been working on:
Although Wan is in charge as the director of this upcoming film, it is always worth remembering that filmmaking – especially in the blockbuster scale is a collaborative effort, and it takes thousands of different people throughout pre-production, principal photography and post-production to bring this story to life in the best way possible. Let’s hope they crafted a truly unique film in the comic book genre that will make hardcore DC fans and the general public quite enthralled this holiday season!
