In a recent interview, Aquaman star Jason Momoa stated that he would like to see his character have a child in the sequel.
During the interview, the actor was asked what he would like to see in a sequel to Aquaman. He responded by saying that he might want to see a baby in it:
Maybe a baby?
He and co-star Amber Heard then had a laugh as they both said “Aquababy” at the same time.

It is worth noting that the two were speaking in humor when talking about a child for Aquaman. The discussion came off the heals of Jason Momoa comparing the making of the film to childbirth, so it is unlikely that the two were taking the idea seriously. But when one considers the theme of family within the film and other James Wan projects, it might not be that big of a leap.
What do you all make of the idea? Would you like to see Aquaman and Mera have a child in the future? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
