This cosplayer on the social media platform Instagram bears such a striking resemblance to Jason Momoa as Aquaman that it’s making people turn heads.
Earlier this month, Instagram user “blackbeard.dad” shared numerous photos of his incredible Aquaman cosplay designed after Jason Momoa’s superhero outfit as seen in his first cinematic solo outing as the DC Comics icon. While the classic orange scale armor he’s wearing is pretty accurate, it’s the cosplayer’s likeness bearing such a crazy similarity to Jason Momoa’s that makes his cosplay the talk of the town.

Aquaman star Jason Momoa has been protesting the construction of the Thirty Meter Telescope (TMT) atop Hawaii’s Mauna Kea volcano. The area in which TMT is proposed to be constructed is sacred to Native Hawaiian culture and religion. Jason Momoa is joined by many other Hawaiians protesting the construction of the TMT. His Justice League co-star Ezra Miller was also there last month.
Jason Momoa is set to return as Arthur Curry in the yet-to-be titled Aquaman sequel that’s currently in development at Warner Brothers. The project is being written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, who who worked on the first Aquaman movie starring Jason Momoa. James Wan is expected to return to the director’s chair after he completes a horror project for New Line Cinema.
In the meantime, Jason Momoa can be seen as Arthur Curry in Aquaman. Here’s the official synopsis for the movie:
