‘Aquaman’ Star Jason Momoa Says The Sequel Is Mapped Out After Pitch

Aquaman star Jason Momoa has the sequel all mapped out after he pitched a some ideas to Warner Bros.

Jason Momoa’s Aquaman was a smash-hit for both DC and Warner Bros. with fans and critics praising the film for it’s bombastic visuals and lead star’s brilliant performance. Since Aquaman‘s release last December, Jason Momoa has been busy with his AppleTV+ series See. While he’s returning to the small screen, Jason Momoa has no plans to leave Aquaman behind and is in fact spearheading the sequel’s plans.

In a recent interview with Esquire to promote See, Aquaman star Jason Momoa discussed how he has the entire sequel “mapped out”. You can check out his full comments below.

“I came in with a big pitch. I came in with the whole thing mapped out, and they loved it.”

It’s one thing for an actor to have input into how the film’s story could go, but it’s a whole other ballpark for the lead star to go in himself to deliver the narrative of the franchise going forward. Knowing this information, it isn’t hard to imagine Jason Momoa get a writing or story by credit for the Aquaman sequel. The script for the sequel is being written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, but we could potentially see Jason Momoa joining the writers table soon.
