During a red carpet interview with Entertainment Tonight, Aquaman star Jason Momoa shot down rumors suggesting Henry Cavill will soon retire from the Superman role.
While Jason Momoa is only now taking the lead in his own standalone Aquaman film, Henry Cavill has played Superman in three DC films and previous reports indicated that he will soon leave the role. However, Momoa debunked those rumors and insisted that Henry Cavill will not leave the character he loves behind anytime soon:
“He’s abosultely not. […] He loves the character and he’s not. 100%. […] No, it’s absolutely not.”
