The CW recently released a brand new, extended trailer for the upcoming midseason premiere of Arrow, entitled My Name is Emiko Queen.
As the trailer hints, the midseason premiere will follow Oliver, now fresh out of prison, as he attempts to get his life back in order and struggles to win over the trust of the people of Star City following his law-breaking stint as the infamous outlaw, Arrow. The plan is to this time work alongside the Star City Police Department rather than work from the shadows as Oliver has so grown accustomed to.
At the same time, Oliver and his team will be contending with the new Green Arrow in town– Emiko Queen. The mystery behind this fresh-faced archer has been building all season, but in the waning moments of the midseason finale, she was revealed to be none other than Robert Queen’s daughter. Although the name “Emiko” has not yet been mentioned explicitly in the show, hardcore comic book fans will recognize the character’s similar story from the source material.
