The CW president Mark Pedowitz recently shot down the idea of the Arrowverse and Titans heroes sharing screentime together.
Since 2011, The CW’s Arrowverse has been bringing iconic DC characters and stories to the small screen in exciting ways. This last December, the Arrowverse crossed over in an epic Elseworlds event that featured a massive rewriting of the timeline by treacherous forces. That wasn’t the only exciting thing that DC fans had to look forward to in December though. It was in that same month that DC Universe’s first original series Titans wrapped up its first season.
The live-action adaptation of the Teen Titans comic ran for eleven episodes on the DC Universe streaming service and will be the first of many, including the upcoming spin-off Doom Patrol. While fans fell in love with the heroes of Titans, it seems that they won’t be able to see them fighting alongside the Arrowverse heroes any time soon. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mark Pedowitz revealed during the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour that an Arrowverse/Titans crossover is not on the horizon. However, Pedowitz did have something to say about what would happen if a crossover were in the works.
Although Titans and the Arrowverse won’t be crossing over, both universes will be expanding in exciting ways in the coming future. The pilot for the Ruby Rose-starring Batwoman series is currently in the works while DC Universe fans will soon be getting Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing, Stargirl, Harley Quinn, and of course, the second season of Titans on the streaming service.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Titans and the Arrowverse as soon as more information becomes available. Would you like to see the two worlds collide? “Titans explores one of the most popular comic book teams ever. It follows a group of young soon-to-be superheroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In the action-adventure series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes that includes Starfire, Raven and others.”
Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson/Robin, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Lindsey Gort as Detective Amy Rohrbach, Alan Ritchson as Hawk, Minka Kelly as Dove, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Dwain Murphy as Negative Man, Jake Michaels as Cliff Steel, April Bowlby as Elasti-Girl, Bruno Bichir as Dr. Niles Caulder, and Conor Leslie as Wonder Girl, and Curran Walters as Jason Todd.

Suicide Squad Characters That Can Appear In The James Gunn Sequel
James Gunn is directing The Suicide Squad for Warner Bros. but that comes at a cost.
When the first Suicide Squad was about to hit theaters DC fans were completely ecstatic. The trailers looked great and the feel of the movie was much different than the darkness that preceded it in Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. This movie was expected to be one of DC’s biggest hits and it turned out to be one of the biggest let-downs of all time.
Suicide Squad was bad and its reviews reflected that. It was one of the only movies I’ve ever been upset at and it made me want to leave the theater. A sequel was announced because the film did well at the box office, going through a number of drafts until James Gunn was brought on to write it. With James Gunn now officially set to direct The Suicide Squad, it looks like the film will be a bit of a soft reboot.
Last night was a bit of a DC maelstrom of news. We got the release dates and official titles of Matt Reeves’ The Batman and James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. Both movies will be hitting theaters in Summer 2021. Throughout all of the chaos a small tidbit surfaced about The Suicide Squad: the James Gunn-directed film will be some sort of relaunch with new characters and actors. Here are the characters I think James Gunn should introduce in his Suicide Squad movie. Hit Next to view all of my choices.
