Arthur Curry. As you know by now, he talks to fishes. But with his film already setting records overseas and getting ready to hit the United States shores in a little over a week, the marketing campaign for Aquaman is full speed ahead with the movie landing aboard very soon. And as far back as San Diego Comic-Con and beyond, the promo art has given us many glimpses at the underwater world of Atlantis that James Wan will show us, building on the brief conversation between Arthur and Mera in Justice League.
But we have two new images of promotional material for the IMAX specific screenings of Aquaman, one that shows Arthur Curry in his classic orange and green armor as he speeds through the sea with his trident at the ready. The second shows Arthur on what looks to be a ship as he prepares for battle against approaching creatures rising from the depths of the sea. Here, have a seat and reel in the Aquaman IMAX images for yourself in the photos below.

And chances are that if you’re one of the folks who will be seeing Aquaman in an IMAX theater, perhaps you’ll come across one of these posters as well. In the past, some theaters that do IMAX screenings have given away smaller posters for comic book films, such as Thor: Ragnarok and Justice League, so it’s entirely possible that anyone who sees an IMAX screening of Aquaman could walk away with one of these posters to hang up on their wall as well.
But what do you make of the IMAX posters for Aquaman? How will you be seeing the upcoming DC film? Let us know in the comments below.
Aquaman is set to arrive on our shores on December 21st.
