A new concept design imagines Legion star Aubrey Plaza as She-Hulk for the character’s MCU series on Disney Plus.
We’ve known for quite sometime that the MCU is bringing She-Hulk to the small screen with a Disney Plus series. However, there’s little to no indication as to who will take on the role of She-Hulk in the MCU. Fan speculation has reached far and wide, with fan castings like Rosario Dawson and Gina Carano dominating the conversation of who should play She-Hulk in the MCU.
Now, digital artist “ApexForm” has thrown in a brand new, inspired name into that ring of fan castings: Aubrey Plaza. One of the most interesting fan castings for She-Hulk, Aubrey Plaza would perfect for the role of She-Hulk in the MCU. The artist created a cool piece of fan art for the She-Hulk series, showing what Aubrey Plaza could look like as the Marvel Comics icon. You can see Aubrey Plaza as She-Hulk for the MCU below.

In the poster, Aubrey Plaza’s She-Hulk is rocking a blazer and has the traditional green eyes that are the precursor to her hulking out. Seeing as the She-Hulk show is part of the MCU, Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk is alongside her, implying that he’s probably training her on how to control her rage. Below Aubrey Plaza and Mark Ruffalo is a scene of scientists working on something.
Seeing as this is a fan poster, it does a pretty good job of showing what the She-Hulk show would be like even though details are slim. As for Aubrey Plaza, nothing has been announced regarding her inclusion in the MCU, though she would certainly make for a solid She-Hulk. Only time will tell if Aubrey Plaza will join the MCU as She-Hulk.

In the comics, She-Hulk is the alter-ego of Jennifer Walters, a private attorney and the cousin of Bruce Banner. After being shot, Jennifer Walters receives a blood transfusion from Bruce that transforms her into the gamma-powered She-Hulk. However, unlike most incarnations of Bruce Banner’s Hulk, Jennifer Walters retains her sharp wit and emotional control in her She-Hulk form, which later becomes permanent.
Marvel Studios’ upcoming slate of films includes Black Widow, The Eternals, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Thor: Love and Thunder.
