It seems the news about Tom King co-writing the New Gods film is true, as Ava DuVernay has officially welcomed the Batman comic writer to the crew.
The news surrounding Tom King of late has been a bit of a roller coaster ride. The news officially broke last week that he would not be finishing his run on Batman for unknown reasons. Tom King had been hinting at mysterious secret meetings for a while and earlier today we found out why.
Earlier today it was reported that Tom King was set to co-write the upcoming New Gods film with Ava DuVernay as the director. We now have confirmation of this from the director herself as she welcomes Tom King to the crew on a Twitter post where she asks him if he is ready to write the film.
