New ‘Avengers 4’ Costumes May Confirm Time Travel & Quantum Realm Theory

Avengers Infinity War MarvelRecently revealed Avengers 4 merchandise may have confirmed the quantum real and time travel fan theories.

Long before audiences witnessed the shocking conclusion of Avengers: Infinity War, fans began to suspect that the untitled fourth film would involve time travel after set photos suggested major heroes would revisit the Battle of New York from the first film. Those theories were fueled when the first post-credits scene in Ant-Man and The Wasp concluded with Scott Lang being trapped inside the Quantum Realm after Hope, Hank, and Janet were erased from existence by Thanos’ infamous finger snap, leading many to believe that the tiny hero would lead the Avengers through the alternate dimension to change history. Now, new Avengers 4 merchandise has revealed new costumes for Thor and Rocket Raccoon that may have confirmed the surviving heroes of Infinity War will use the Quantum Realm to travel back in time in an effort to prevent Thanos’ mass extermination from ever taking place.

The new formfitting outfits are reminiscent of the early designs conceived for Hank Pym’s Quantum Realm suit and the fact that Captain America can be seen wearing the new suits with his classic costume underneath suggests they are worn solely for a specific purpose. Furthermore, the aforementioned set photos revealing a return to the Battle of New York featured what appears to be an older Tony Stark and Ant-Man wearing unknown devices on their wrists, which many suspected would be instrumental in their travels through time. A similar wrist device can be seen on Rocket Racoon in the merchandising art for the sole surviving Guardian’s new costume, suggesting that if the device is truly a critical tool our heroes use during their journey through time, then the new suits almost certainly have a related purpose.
