‘Avengers 4’ Rumored To Begin Years After ‘Infinity War’

Avengers 4 has been rumored for quite a while to pick up with a significant time jump after the events of Avengers: Infinity War and thanks to a new rumor, we might know just how long it’s been since many of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes dusted away when the next film begins.

Plot details remain under wraps as but the film will follow the culmination of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe to date, Avengers: Infinity War. It will also serve as the final film in the third phase of the MCU, and the conclusion to the 22 films that came before it.

According to Daniel R, the new film is said to take place five years after its predecessor, continuing on with our heroes longer after Thanos’ infamous snap.

Avengers 4 is being directed by Joe and Anthony Russo. Much of the cast of Infinity War is expected to return including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel as well as Pom Klementieff, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Tom Holland, Sebastian Stan, Chadwick Boseman, Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Hiddleston, and Josh Brolin.

Avengers 4 hits theaters May 3, 2019.
