Marvel Studios Head of Visual Development Charlie Wen has shared official concept art of a cut Avengers: Age of Ultron scene with Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk.
Avengers: Age of Ultron found our heroes tracking the eponymous robot to Johannesburg shortly after their first encounter with the villain at their New York headquarters. While the Avengers managed to locate Ultron just as he was purchasing Wakandan vibranium from Ulysses Klaue, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch were able to help him subdue the team, with the latter using her abilities to send Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk on a rampage through the city.
Now, Marvel Studios Head of Visual Development Charlie Wen has taken to his official Instagram account to share a concept illustration of Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk that was not included in Avengers: Age of Ultron. The illustration depicts Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk furiously emerging from the trees to the horror of a young child in what Chen describes as “one of his crazed moments in the film.”
