Avengers: Endgame is pushing towards the $800 million mark at the domestic box office and will pass the domestical total gross for Avatar ($760M) by Sunday morning.
The Marvel epic currently sits at $748 million. The film is expected to take around $29 million in its fourth weekend at the box office. Meanwhile, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum is expected to take the No.1 spot in its opening weekend with an estimated $56 million.
Avengers: Endgame is already the second highest-grossing film of all time at the worldwide box office and the fastest film to cross the $2 billion milestone. At a total of $2.54 billion worldwide, the fourth Avengers film is closing in on Avatar ($2.78B) for the number 1 spot of all time globally.
Avengers: Endgame serves as both a follow up to Avengers: Infinity War as well as the conclusion to the 22 films that came before Marvel officially ends Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Spider-Man: Far From Home in July.
