Avengers star Chris Evans has nominated his fellow Avenger to fill the Oscars host position for this year’s Academy Awards.
The Oscars are only a few months away and they still don’t have a host for the event. In the past, celebrities like Chris Rock, Ellen Degeneres and Jimmy Kimmel have taken on the task of making sure the biggest night in movies is as entertaining as possible. They always seem to find someone that knows how to have a good time and keep audiences entertained for the whole showing. The man that started it all. Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr. is the man Chris Evans believes can not only lead the Avengers but also the Oscars. The MCU hopes to make an impact on the Academy Awards with both Infinity War and Black Panther making a run for some Oscar Glory. So having Downey at the helm seems like not just a solid idea, but, in fact, the perfect choice to run the show.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, the films is expected to star Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Paul Rudd, Jeremy Renner, Brie Larson, Josh Brolin and Chris Pratt.
Avengers 4 is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 3, 2019.
