Is Avengers: Doomsday going to be the biggest thing the MCU has ever done? A new report suggests that Marvel Studios has big plans for the Multiverse Saga’s endgame.
To say that there’s a lot riding on Avengers: Doomsday is an understatement. The Multiverse Saga has been struggling, with many of the MCU’s “sure bet” heroes like Doctor Strange and Captain America stumbling in their most recent solo outings. If Avengers: Doomsday flops, it isn’t just a chink in Marvel Studios’ armor, it would be a gaping wound they may not survive.
And the current teasers for Avengers: Doomsday have fans…apprehensive. While the X-Men teaser showed that Marvel Studios still knows how to put breathtaking action on the silver screen, the other 3 trailers simply showcasing what heroes are currently up to with the Multiverse Saga has some worried that the film may be slower-paced compared to other MCU films.
Avengers: Doomsday ‘Doesn’t Let Up’
Luckily, it seems as though Avengers: Doomsday is going all-in on the action. A report from John Campea about the MCU teases that Marvel Studios is set to put the pedal to the metal with the Multiverse Saga’s finale. And given Campea was the one to originally leak the photo of Andrew Garfield in Spider-Man: No Way Home, it’s safe to say his sources are likely sound.
“What this person indicated to me was the sheer volume of action is going to eclipse everything else Marvel’s ever done. People are going to lose their minds. This movie starts with its foot through the floor and shoots you like a cannon out of the gate.”
“There’s no slow start. It’s massive action right from the beginning, the scale is insane, and it doesn’t let up.”
Given just how many heroes are set to appear in Avengers: Doomsday, it’s absolutely not shocking that the film will be packed with action. And, if the MCU’s track record of duologies is anything to go by, it’s likely that Marvel Studios is saving their big trump cards for the Multiverse Saga’s TRUE finale: Avengers: Secret Wars.
