Avengers: Doomsday is going through some reshoots! A rumor reveals which actors are headed back to the set of the MCU’s biggest film yet.
Every major film these days goes through reshoots, and it’s just about that time for Avengers: Doomsday to be going through some of its own. The odd part isn’t that they’re happening, but rather that the rumor mill has been largely silent about what footage the team is hoping to pick up, information that should be rather obvious depending on what cast members are brought back.
But it’s only recently that fans got a rumor teasing which actors are being brought back for reshoots. According to Hollywood insider DanielRPK, there are four actors currently known to be participating in reshoots for Avengers: Doomsday: Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova), David Harbour (Red Guardian), Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool), and Hugh Jackman (Wolverine).
The Reshoots Of Avengers: Doomsday
While Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman haven’t been officially confirmed to reprise their roles in Avengers: Doomsday, the rumor mill has been teasing some rather wild scenes featuring the characters. Specifically, it seems as though the two will be killed at the very start of Avengers: Doomsday alongside another key hero, before being resurrected at the end for Secret Wars.
As for David Harbour and Florence Pugh, the rumor mill has been much less clear about what role they’ll be playing in Avengers: Doomsday. However, given the close ties that their characters share, it’s more likely than not that their involvement in reshoots will be to add more emotional resonance to the New Avengers storyline.
