A rumor from scooper DanielRPK suggests that Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man will fight when they finally meet on the silver screen. While the circumstances as to why aren’t clear, it likely has to do with another prominent rumor.
The rumor mill has been suggesting that the reason heroes come to blows in Avengers: Doomsday is because there is a “kill or be killed” mentality when it comes to incursions. So, if Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man manages to find his way into the world of the X-Men, it only makes sense that Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine would try to take him out to save his planet.
