Avengers: Endgame concept artist Jerad S. Marantz unveiled a new illustration of an early design for Thanos’ armor.
After the Avengers traveled back in time to retrieve the Infinity Stones in hopes of reversing Thanos’ decimation, a past version of the Mad Titan learned of their mission and prepared to follow them back to the present. Of course, Thanos did not travel to the present without his army and a battle for Earth erupted on the grounds of the destroyed Avengers headquarters.
Now, Avengers: Endgame concept artist Jerad S. Marantz has shared an early illustration for Thanos’ armor that features some notable differences from the final version featured in the film. As Marantz explains in the caption, the armor on Thanos’ legs and loincloth were changed for the final version and the weapon the Mad Titan used was swapped out for a new tool.
