Avengers: Endgame won the Rotten Tomatoes Golden Tomato award for Best Wide Release and Tom Holland joined the Russo Brothers to celebrate in a new video.
With 2019 now behind us, Rotten Tomatoes is celebrating the best-reviewed film and television shows from the past year and Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame has won the site’s award for Best Wide Release Movie. To announce the win, Rotten Tomatoes released a new video featuring Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo alongside Spider-Man actor Tom Holland.
The short video shows the Avengers: Endgame directors and Tom Holland celebrating the win by munching on tomatoes, with Joe Russo noting, “It’s a good tomato.” The video appropriately concluded with a clip from the Avengers: Endgame scene in which Tom Holland’s Spider-Man reunites with Iron Man and responds to his hug by saying, “This is nice.”

Tom Holland and the Avengers: Endgame directors are currently working on a new feature film titled Cherry. After that, Tom Holland will reprise his role as Spider-Man in the web-slinger’s third solo outing in the MCU franchise.
