New keyframe art from Avengers: Endgame shows Captain America wielding Thor’s iconic weapon Mjolnir.

Avengers: Endgame finally saw Captain America wielding Mjolnir, something that was first teased in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. Steve Rogers lifted the hammer during the opening moments of the film’s final battle, which saw Steve Rogers teaming up with Thor and Iron Man to take down Thanos.

Ryan Meinerding, the Head of Visual Development for Marvel Studios, recently took to Instagram to share a piece of keyframe art for Avengers: Endgame. The piece shows Captain America striking Thanos with Mjolnir, with Meinerding saying that it was “so much fun sketching ideas for this fight.” Check out the artwork below.
