During an interview with ComicBook.com, Anthony and Joe Russo revealed which Marvel Studios films fans should definitely rewatch to prepare for Avengers: Endgame.
Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame is set to conclude the decade-long Marvel Cinematic Universe story known as “The Infinity Saga” and many fans are rewatching the 21 films in the lead-up to the highly-anticipated epic. Of course, with the film only two weeks away from hitting theaters, a lot of fans who have put off a full MCU rewatch are running out of time to revisit all 21 films. Fortunately, co-directors Anthony and Joe Russo revealed the key Marvel Studios films fan should rewatch to best prepare for Endgame:
“[Captain America:] Civil War and [Avengers:] Infinity War without question because the events of Civil War directly affected Infinity War, and we would argue that the reason they lost to Thanos is because of Civil War. Clearly, that carries over to Endgame. If you’re going to add one more in there, I’d probably say [Captain America: The] Winter Soldier, only in that those are the four movies we directed, and they’re all thematically connected to one another.”
