Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr. recently shared an image that appeared in the Avengers: Endgame trailer featuring Tom Holland’s Peter Parker/Spider-Man.
Robert Downey Jr. became an instant action star after starring in Marvel Studios’ Iron Man kickstarting what would be known as the Marvel Cinematic Universe. What began as an escape project from a cave grew into a huge universe spanning 22 interconnected films. Throughout these films various characters were introduced one of which was the young and charismatic Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Spider-Man joined Iron Man in Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War giving him a chance at the Stark Industries internship. Now, Robert Downey Jr. has shared an image giving fans a glimpse of Spider-Man’s accomplishment as an intern for Iron Man. You can view the image below.

In this image by Robert Downey Jr. fans can see that Peter Parker/Spider-Man was awarded a certificate in appreciation for his work with the Stark Industries Internship program. This image of Iron Man and Spider-Man was last seen in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame Sneak Peak released the day tickets went on sale. During the Avengers: Endgame trailer there is a short scene in which it appears Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man looks at the image remembering how he lost Peter Parker/Spider-Man during the events of Avengers: Infinity War. It seems that Avengers: Endgame may be paying tribute to the heroes who were lost when Thanos wiped out half of the universe.
