A new video from Avengers: Endgame directors, The Russo Brothers, show’s Brie Larson’s first day ever as the new superhero, Captain Marvel.
Avengers: Endgame was a bit surprising with just how little Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel was involved in it. The after-credits scene in Avengers: Infinity War had Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury essentially calling Captain Marvel for help before he was turned to dust by Thanos as well. Before she appeared in Endgame, Brie Larson starred in her own Captain Marvel film which became one of the biggest hits of the first half of the year. Many had assumed that she would be a big part of Endgame but this turned out not be the case.
Ultimately Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel only appeared at the start of the film and helped in the final battle against Thanos’ forces. However, she none the less played a big part in those two parts of the film, helping the heroes slay Thanos before turning up at the end to help turn the tide against the supervillain’s armies. Now we have our first look at Brie Larson’s first day on the set as Captain Marvel.
During a quarantine watch party from Comicbook.com, Avengers: Endgame directors Anthony and Joe Russo shared the first time Brie Larson was on the set of the film as Captain Marvel, greeting other cast members with hugs. You can see the full video below:
