With Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox officially complete, fans are already looking towards what Marvel Studios has planned for the X-Men and Fantastic Four now that the characters are under the House of Mouse umbrella. While some hoped the deal had been finalized in time for Marvel Studios to include the X-Men or Fantastic Four in Avengers: Endgame, even for a brief appearance, Anthony and Joe Russo confirmed it would not have been possible to film a scene with the Fox characters in time for the release of Endgame:

“That deal didn’t actually officially close until a week and a half ago. It would not have been logistically possible.”
