Avengers: Endgame star Gwyneth Paltrow and her company are selling a new candle that smells like her private parts.
Okay, so this one requires a bit of an explanation. Gwyneth Paltrow has her own company known as Goop that is primarily known for lifestyle products. One of their most recent products is a candle that is called “This Smells Like My Vagina”. According to Gwyneth Paltrow’s company website, the candle currently costs $75.
The description itself reveals that the name started out as a joke between Gwyneth Paltrow and perfumer Douglas Little where the former stated that the candle smelled like a vagina and they decided to roll with it:
This candle started as a joke between perfumer Douglas Little and GP—the two were working on a fragrance, and she blurted out, “Uhhh..this smells like a vagina”—but evolved into a funny, gorgeous, sexy, and beautifully unexpected scent. (That turned out to be perfect as a candle—we did a test run at an In goop Health, and it sold out within hours.) It’s a blend of geranium, citrusy bergamot, and cedar absolutes juxtaposed with Damask rose and ambrette seed that puts us in mind of fantasy, seduction, and a sophisticated warmth.
Gwyneth Paltrow’s last major film appearance was, of course, Avengers: Endgame. In it, she portrayed Tony Stark’s wife, Pepper Potts and surprised everyone by showing up in her own armor set that Tony Stark designed for her in the film’s climactic battle. Gwyneth Paltrow has since stated that she considers herself semi-retired from acting.
