Avengers star Josh Brolin took to Instagram to issue an apology for breaking social distancing rules.

Earlier this week, Avengers star Josh Brolin shared an image of himself and his family on Instagram. In the image, Brolin and his family were wearing masks and maintaining social distancing. The image taken by the Avengers star consisted of his parents, wife, and young daughter. While many pointed out that Brolin and his family were maintaining good social distancing standards and took precautions to wear masks, many called out the Brolin for leaving his house and meeting his parents in the first place.

Josh Brolin later deleted the picture and issues a lengthy apology video on Friday, where he discussed how humbled he felt over his Avengers fans wanting him to exercise caution. In the video, Brolin also revealed that he lives right next door to his father and mother, and the intention to remain far away from them was broken.

In his apology, Josh Brolin mentions that it’s extremely important to go overboard when being cautious and that he feels grateful for his followers for reminding him of that. Brolin seems genuinely apologetic about the fact that he broke social distancing rules despite being cautious by wearing masks. In fact, Brolin isn’t the only Avengers star who was called out for not maintaining social distancing. His co-star Evangeline Lily refused to social distance at first, only to mend her ways once she received significant backlash from fans. In the end, the Avengers camp seems to be doing their best to help flatten the curve, even if took some time to get there.
