‘Avengers’ Star Mark Ruffalo Eyed To Star HBO’s ‘Parasite’ Series

Collider reports Avengers: Endgame star Mark Ruffalo is being eyed for a role in HBO’s Parasite series.

Director Bong Joon Ho is collaborating with Adam McKay on a television series adaptation of Parasite, which won four Oscars, including Best Picture, at the 2019 Academy Awards. Now, multiple Collider sources have informed the outlet that Avengers: Endgame star Mark Ruffalo is eyed to play one of the leads in the Parasite series.

According to the outlet, while negotiations have not officially begun, both Mark Ruffalo and Bong Joon Ho are interested in striking a deal. When reached for comment, HBO made the following statement on Mark Ruffalo being eyed for a role in the Parasite series:

“The HBO limited series inspired by Parasite is in the early stages of development, and to speculate on any characters or casting is wildly premature.”
