Avengers star Mark Ruffalo revealed that he’s spoken to Kevin Feige about seeing Hulk take on Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
While fans are looking to the near-future of the MCU, Mark Ruffalo revealed that he’s spoken to Kevin Feige about the potential of Hulk vs. Wolverine on the big screen once the mutants finally take their rightful place alongside the Avengers. It isn’t clear how or when the mutants will make their MCU debut after Disney’s purchase of 20th Century Fox, but Mark Ruffalo is already eyeing Wolverine for a fight with Hulk.
According to ComicBook.com, Avengers star Mark Ruffalo appeared at Tokyo Comic-Con when he revealed the surprising conversation he’d had with Kevin Feige about the possibility of a fight between Hulk and Wolverine. Mark Ruffalo explained that he felt he still has some stories to tell with the Hulk and Kevin Feige invited him to speak about his ideas before finally settling on the big reveal – he wants to see Hulk vs. Wolverine. “Kevin Feige just asked me last week if I had any more ideas or stories for the Hulk. And I said yeah, I think there’s still some stories to tell. And he said, ‘Well why don’t you come in and tell me about them and we’ll see if we can find a place for you in the Marvel universe?’ Hulk vs. Wolverine, I’d like to see that. Hulk vs. Wolverine.”
