How Does Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man Escape The Quantum Realm In ‘Avengers: Endgame’?

Avengers Endgame Ant-Man

Warning: The following post contains Avengers: Endgame spoilers about Ant-Man

After just under a year of speculation, Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame finally revealed how Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man escapes the Quantum Realm.

The post-credits scene in Ant-Man and the Wasp concluded with Paull Rudd’s Scott Lang being trapped in the Quantum Realm after Hope, Janet, and Hank were erased from existence due to Thanos’ decimation. While fans suspected Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man would escape the dimension and pave the way for our heroes to travel back in time to undo Thanos’ heinous act, exactly how he would escape the Quantum Realm remained unknown until the release of Avengers: Endgame.

As it turns out, the van holding the tunnel to the Quantum was placed in storage where it sat for five years after Thanos’ decimation. As luck would have it, a rat happened to find its way inside of the van and inadvertently activated the tunnel, allowing Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang to escape from the Quantum Realm after being trapped for what was only five hours to him.

How do you feel about the fate of everyone who was erased from existence ultimately resting on a rat simply being at the right place at the right time to return Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man from the Quantum Realm? Let us know below!

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo,  Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Josh Brolin.

Avengers: Endgame will be released in theaters on April 26, 2019.
