The Incredible Hulk now has a constellation named after him and of course actor Mark Ruffalo had the perfect response.
Earlier this week, a big, green icon who has been around for decades finally got a constellation named after him. Of course, I’m talking about Godzilla. He wasn’t the only one though, as the Marvel icon The Incredible Hulk also nabbed a constellation of his own. When this was announced, it was only a matter of time before Avengers: Infinity War star Mark Ruffalo would respond to the news.
It may seem random at first, the idea of Hulk getting his own constellation, but it actually makes quite a bit of sense. Given that Hulk’s human alter ego is Bruce Banner, his notoriety as a man of science made him and Hulk perfect candidates to have a constellation named after them, well at least one of them. Ruffalo, who plays Bruce Banner/Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, took to his Twitter account to give a brief, humorous response to the awesome news. Check it out below.

What makes the news even more awesome is that it also works as a great homage to the comic book Planet Hulk, which features the MCU’s strongest Avengers member being launched into space by his fellow heroes, as well as last year’s critical and financial darling Thor: Ragnarok. This also opens the door to plenty of other science-fiction based characters who could also earn their own constellations in the future.
