Based on data collected from Nielsen, ComScore, Box Office Mojo, IMDB, and interviews with industry insiders, Forbes has listed Avengers: Endgame and Black Widow star Scarlett Johansson as the highest-paid actress for the second year based on her $56 million earnings. According to the outlet, this figure includes an eight-figure check Scarlett Johansson received for the upcoming film Black Widow and a back-end payment of approximately $35 million for her work on Avengers: Endgame, which grossed over $2 billion worldwide.

While Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff sacrificed her life in Avengers: Endgame, the heroine will return as the lead hero in Black Widow. Directed by Cate Shortland from a script written by Jac Schaeffer and Ned Benson, Black Widow stars Scarlett Johansson, David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbenle, Ray Winstone, Olivier Richters, and Rachel Weisz.
