Avengers: Endgame star Sebastian Stan said during a recent Q&A that Batman villain The Riddler is a character that he would “love to play”.

Sebastian Stan who’s best known for playing Captain America’s (Chris Evans) best friend Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe expressed that he’d love to play a member of Batman’s rogues gallery, The Riddler, during the Jus In Bello event in Rome.

Sebastian Stan took part in a Q&A where he was asked what character he hasn’t played yet that he would love to play to which he responded with the master of riddles:

“I would love to try and play The Riddler. That’s an interesting character. I don’t know how you’d play that one actually, that would be very hard to be honest, because you couldn’t be like crazy crazy crazy. You would have to be kind of much darker than that, but that’s an interesting character.”

Sebastian Stan would only be the second incarnation of The Riddler that we’ve seen on the big screen. The first to play The Riddler on film was Jim Carrey in 1995’s Batman Forever. Until that time comes, we will continue to see Sebastian Stan as Bucky/Winter Soldier in the Disney+ series Falcon & Winter Solider.
