‘Avengers: Endgame’ Theory Suggests Chris Evans’ Captain America Went To The Soul World

A new Avengers: Endgame theory suggests Chris Evans’ Captain America visited the Soul World for his dance with Peggy Carter.

Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame concluded with Chris Evan’s Captain America traveling back in time to return the Infinity Stones to the point they were taken. In the closing shot, the first Avenger was shown back in the past dancing with Peggy Carter, fulfilling a promise he made to her before he was frozen in the arctic for decades.

However, because Chris Evans’ Captain America returned to the present as an old man to pass the shield to Sam Wilson, it was widely assumed that he lived out the remainder of his life with Peggy Carter in the past. This created some confusion about the consequences of this decision on the MCU timeline, especially considering it had been established that Peggy Carter has moved on after Cap’s presumed death and had a family of her own. Now, a new Avengers: Endgame theory proposes a possible solution to this problem by suggesting Chris Evans’ Captain America actually had that dance with Peggy in the Soul World, which would mean his return to the past wouldn’t have any impact of the family she had during his disappearance.
