A new set photo from the upcoming DC film Batgirl has given us a new look at Leslie Grace’s costume.
Earlier this month, production for Leslie Grace’s Batgirl went outdoors. As to be expected a number of Batgirl set images have leaked which, among other things, teased an update on Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor as well as the involvement of Michael Keaton’s Batman. But the images are still coming.
Earlier this month, Leslie Grace gave us our first look at Batgirl in full costume. Many fans were not happy with the look comparing it to that of a cheap cosplay which itself has prompted a response from the directors. The first look at the suit, however, was likely a move to get ahead of any set leaks that were likely to happen during an outdoor shoot which has now happened.
Earlier today a new image of Leslie Grace on the set of Batgirl was revealed. The costume mostly appears to be the same but appears to be in a more darkened setting. It’s not entirely clear what is going on in the image but she appears to be observing someone from above. You can see the full image below:
Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are directing Batgirl, which is being planned as a movie for the WarnerMedia streaming service HBO Max. Christina Hodson, the screenwriter behind Birds of Prey and The Flash, penned the script. DC’s Batgirl movie is set to follow the Barbara Gordon iteration of the Gotham City heroine. J.K. Simmons also stars as Commissioner Gordon, Brendan Fraser appearing as the villain Firefly, and Michael Keaton as Batman.
