Former Batman actor Ben Affleck had a sobriety setback as he was seen stumbling out of a Halloween party earlier this weekend.

Ben Affleck was leaving a party late Saturday night in Hollywood when TMZ spotted him trying to get into a car. As the former Batman actor was walking to his ride, he was clearly stumbling around, almost falling on the pavement before grabbing onto a car that wasn’t his. When the TMZ reporter spoke to him, Ben Affleck ignored him and got into his car. In the video posted by TMZ, Batman actor Ben Affleck is wearing a suit and a casual skeleton mask.

Ben Affleck has had a troubled history with alcohol addiction and has been trying his best to stay sober. Ben Affleck has been to rehab a number of times and most recently began taking “Buddhist ethics lessons” from a wellness center in Los Angeles. After his setback, a friend of Ben Affleck spoke to People regarding how the actor is struggling.

“Sobriety is difficult and elusive for everyone struggling with addiction. Ben has acknowledged he’s going to slip up from time to time. It was never as if this was simply behind him.”

Batman actor Ben Affleck last entered rehab in August 2018 after his ex-wife Jennifer Garner insisted that he figure things out. Garner has been quite supportive of Ben Affleck these past few weeks and we’re sure she’ll continue to do so.

Ben Affleck was last seen as Batman in Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Here is the official synopsis for the movie:
